Visiting Guidelines from Harris

Southern California Hospital at Culver City welcomes guests while prioritizing the health and safety of all patients, visitors, and staff. All visitors and vendors must:

  • Check in at the Pavilion main lobby to obtain a visitor's pass
  • Pass through metal detector screening upon entry or re-entry
  • Those without passes will be redirected to the main lobby

Visitation Hours

Acute Care and Sub-Acute

Daily 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Behavioral Health and Chemical Dependency

  • Monday – Friday: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Sunday, and holidays: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

General Visitation Guidelines

  1. Maximum 2 visitors per room simultaneously
  2. Masks are optional (personal preference)
  3. Visitors under 18 require adult supervision at all times
  4. No visitors are permitted in the Emergency Department; patients under 18 may have one parent or guardian present
  5. Overnight stays are limited and require House Supervisor approval

COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines

All approved visitors must:

  1. Check in at the main front desk, complete the visitor log, and obtain a pass
  2. Wear a hospital-approved surgical mask at all times
  3. Maintain appropriate physical distancing
  4. Postpone your visit if you are experiencing flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms
  5. Wait a minimum of 10 days after a positive COVID-19 test before visiting

Sub-Acute Guidelines (Tower 3)

Additional guidelines apply for visitors to the Sub-Acute unit in Tower 3:

  • Visitor schedule may vary by department β€” staff will advise security of any changes
  • Maximum 2 visitors per room at any time
  • Check in at both the main front desk and the Tower 3 Sub-Acute desk
  • Complete the visitor log including COVID-19 symptom attestation
  • Wear appropriate PPE while in the patient room at all times

Non-compliance with visitation guidelines will result in immediate removal from the premises.
